CAMP VICENTE LIMokebet, Laguna, Philippines — Three men were arrested in connection with the murder of two sales agents in Batangas on Wednesday.

The suspects – identified as Guillermo Endozo, 32; Jojo Sangalang, 35, and Jayson Endozo, 42 – were arrested in a follow-up operation at the boundary of Agoncillo and Laurel towns, according to Maj. Broderick Noprada, Agoncillo police chief.

The suspects were tagged in the killing of Eugene Petil, 37, and James Clerk Sultero, 18, whose remains were found in Barangay Banyaga in Agoncillo on Tuesday.

The bodies bore gunshot wounds, probers said.

“Linabas ng Commission en Banc ang isang resolusyon kung saang opisyal at pormal nating sinasabi na ang 10 barangay ng Taguig na galing sa Makati City, tatlo sa first district, pito sa second district,” Garcia said on Wednesday, October 2.  

Espinosa was accompanied by other aspirants running under his slate called “Bando Espinosa-Pundok Kausaban.” He was also with supporters from different barangays in the town of Albuera.

Charges of double murder were filed yesterday against the suspects before the Batangas Prosecutor’s Office.

“The target of the assailants was Petil. Guillermo owes Petil money and he wants to silence him. Sultero was collateral damage only,” Noprada said.

Probers recovered bullet shellsokebet, phones and a pick-up truck at the crime scene.
