In the Lok Sabha, both Opposition and treasury benches intensely protested against the alleged insult to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Speaker Om Birla’s directions barring demonstrations at the Parliament gates.

As the House convened for the day, Birla called on Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal to present a resolution for constituting a joint committee of Parliament to examine the bills related to 'One Nation, One Election'. However, slogans of "Jai Bhim" began reverberating in the House as the Speaker read out his directions that prohibited protests demonstrations at Parliament’s gates.

11 Dead, 35 Injured After Collision Of Truck Carrying Chemicals On Jaipur-Ajmer Highway

At least eleven people were killed, and over 35 others were injured in a major fire on the Jaipur-Ajmer National Highway on Friday morning. The incident occurred after a truck carrying chemicals collided with several other vehicles. Of the about 35 people injured, nearly half are "very critical", Rajasthan Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar said.

Around 37 vehicles engulfed in flames. Visuals from the area showed massive flames rising from a fuel station as fire tenders struggled to extinguish the blaze.

Indian National Lok Dal president and former Haryana chief minister Om Prakash Chautala suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away at the age of 89 in Gurugram on Thursday.

Soon after Chautala suffered a cardiac arrest on Thursday he was taken to the hospital but could not be saved, reported PTI.

He was a four-time chief minister of Haryana and former deputy prime minister Devi Lal's son.

Croatia: 7-Year-Old Girl Dies, 6 Others Wounded In Knife Attack In School; Attacker Detained

A 7-year-old girl died and a teacher and five other students were wounded in a knife attack at a school in the Croatian capital, Zagreb, authorities said Friday.

Police said the attack happened at 9:50 a.m. at the Precko Elementary School in the neighborhood of the same name. They described the attacker as a “young male” and said he had been detained.

Health Minister Irena Hristic said the attacker was over 18, while media reported he was 19. Video footage published by Croatian media showed children running away from the school building.
