I have been eyeing the IWC Aquatimer 2000 and will like to know from current and ex-owners of this timepiece, what are your thoughts on it. Does it wear too big and appropriate for everyday office wear?Overall, I think the IWC Aquatimer 2000 is an extremely well made watch that is often overlooked. It’s a very solidly built watch (2000m!) that’s a long-term keeper for sure! It's certainly changed my perspective about IWC's range of their diver . The fit and finish is superb, as I'd expect from IWC. Whereas the size and heft of the AT makes my Portuguese Chronograph seem almost dainty in comparison, it has the same almost jewel-like quality. It does have a screw-in crown. The .I will be new at IWC watches and I am currently looking at two great watches: Vintage Aquatimer and Aquatimer 2000. Originally I was supposed to buy the Aquatimer 2000; but the AD had the Vintage version.
